“So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
Mark 10: 51
The blind man called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” He was told to be quiet…he was a disturbance and a distraction, but he cried out the more, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.” This man recognized that he had a date with destiny, and he did not allow anything or anyone to keep him from the One who held his future. He was determined to meet Jesus, and he was ready for the encounter.
On hearing the blind man, Jesus called out for him. As the man came to him, Jesus asked, “What do you want me to do for you?” The man replied, “That I may receive my sight.” The blind man seized this God-ordained opportunity to obtain that which he needed to become all that God had designed him to be. He was desperate and ready for change.
Today, ask yourself: “How badly do I want to become what God has designed me to be?”
Are you willing to push through every obstacle (i.e. dirty dishes, complaining coworkers, fear, self-pity, etc.) to meet with Jesus? And, when Jesus asks you what you need, what would your answer be? Are you ready for change? Well friend, today is the day! You have a date with destiny! Jesus is with you and it is His pleasure to manifest His power in you! He is able to do exceeding abundantly above what you can ask or think. Raise your expectations, for with Jesus, all things are possible!
